"It was also the first showing of the champion bull, Wanrua Wizard, who took the ribbon at under 12 months of age.
Ms Baker said he carried his "strength and capacity all the way down throughout that body".
Wanrua stud principal Andrew Manson said the bull would continue to be the production face of the operation.
"He has traditional hair colouring, great natural thickness and is an easy going bull," Mr Manson said.
"He will continue the show circuit as PR for the stud to get our animals out there."
